Ellellu Sangeethave video contest for Music Day 2022

World Music Day is celebrated on June 21 every year to honor the musicians and singers for the gift of music, which gives flight to the imagination and life to everything. To celebrate the musical richness of Karnataka, the Department of Kannada and Culture proudly presents an activity on world music day.

This is an excellent opportunity for every enthusiastic singer to showcase your talent. You can choose a song of your choice belonging to classical(Hindustani or Carnatic), devotional, light music, gamaka, or instrumental.

Prize details : If there are more than 5 entries in each division then 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize shall be considered.

Terms & Conditions:
(Age Limit: Under 16 years; Age Group 16-40; Above 40 years)
1. The song can belong to any of classical music, devotional song, light music, Harikathe, Gamaka or instrumental music.
2. The duration of the music video should not exceed 5 minutes. Upload the video on the google form.

5. 21 June is the last date for submission. Results will be announced within second week of July.
6. Video to be uploaded in MP4 format.
Note: Devotional songs & light music should only be in KANNADA language, other music can be in any language.
